Oneness Blessing (Deeksha) and Meditation
Our natural state is to be in communion with all of life, without any perception of separation: in Oneness with all that is. However, our attachment to our minds and the continuous flow of thoughts makes it difficult to experience this Oneness in our daily lives. The Oneness Blessing assists in de-clutching the mind to allow ever- deeper experiences of the profound silence, joy and grace that lie just beyond the thinking mind. The more time we can spend in this state, the more available it becomes in our daily lives, bringing harmony, happiness and peace to ourselves and those around us.
We meet every Thursday evening at B'Nai Tikvah Temple at 900 - 47th Avenue S.W. It's one block west of Elbow Drive, in Britannia. Please use the administration door which faces 47th Avenue, at the West end of the Temple. We will be in the newly renovated chapel, main floor, to the right. Please arrive BEFORE 7 pm as the doors are locked at 7:05pm. Please feel free to bring friends and family - all are welcome! The evening is offered by donation. We usually start the evening with a chakra meditation followed by the Oneness Blessing (Deeksha).
