Lino Reduction Printing Day Course

Join us at Cambridge Creative Corner for a hands-on full day workshop exploring lino reduction techniques.

Dive into the world of fine arts and ink as we delve into the beauty and versatility of multi-coloured lino prints!

Whether you're a seasoned artist or a beginner, this workshop is designed to inspire creativity and experimentation. Learn how to
create a beautiful reduction print by carving a block in stages to build an image by layering different colours.

You'll learn how to plan each stage of your design, how to mix colours, how to ink up your block and how to use registration to align your prints. By the end of the workshop you will have produced your very own set of limited edition prints to take away with you.

We will be working on A5 pieces of lino. If you have a particular image or theme you would like to work from please bring it along – your own drawings, photographs or magazines are all good reference materials – but there is no pressure to bring an image! We will have plenty of reference pictures to choose from.

Printmaking can be messy so please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting ink on (and/or an apron)!
