Welcome to the Eugene Hiking & Camping Group!  As the name suggests, we are a locally based group of hiking and/or camping enthusiasts that enjoy all that the outdoors has to offer; especially here in the Pacific Northwest. We are a casual, fun, welcoming group that offers opportunities to meet other outdoor enthusiasts while moving those feet. New  to town? Just want to get more exercise while socializing a bit? Want to develop a healthy habit? Sign up and get your hike on!

This group meets regularly every week for the “Sunset Hike” on Wednesdays at Spencer’s Butte, as well as scheduling other outings as posted by event organizers. From star gazing for special astronomical events, to coastal excursions, desert, waterfalls, kayak camping, snow shoeing, cross country skiing, or just plain old camping-camping-getting out in it and having fun while we’re at it is what we strive for!
