Ex-pat Canadians (and their families/significant others) and anyone else that loves Canucks! Let's get together to socialize, celebrate Canadian holidays and share our love of all things Canadian. Examples:
Food & drinks: Caesars, great beer, Ketchup chips, poutine, peameal bacon sandwiches, Coffee Crisp, butter tarts, Tim Hortons, Swiss Chalet, Harveys......
Celebrities: Leonard Cohen, Rush, Celine, Drake, Neil Young, Ryan Gosling, The Guess Who, William Shatner, Wayne Gretzky, Ryan Reynolds, etc. etc.
Canadian-speak: "Abooot,", "hoouse", "assphalt", "please and thank-you, and you're welcome", and of course "Eh!"
Coloured money, the Loonie and the Toonie, Thanksgiving in October, lower drinking age, the metric system, curling (the only sport that you can easily smoke and drink while playing), euchre, Victoria Day, and of course, HOCKEY!!
I could go on forever, but part of the fun of getting together is to celebrate why Canadians are loved all over the world! So please make a mental list of the things you love about our home and native land so I can add them to this description down the road.
