What we’re about
The Canton Area Game Development Meetup brings together individuals and teams who are creating games for fun and/or profit, who are using game engines and related technology for non-game applications (such as training, architectural rendering, cinematic production, or simulation), or who have an interest in learning how video games work and how to create their own.
In this context, modding of existing video games is also considered "game development".
Attendance is open to anyone interested in the topic, but everyone is expected to be open-minded and civil to one another. This is not about which game engine is best, but about using the tools that work best for *you* and sharing your creative work with like-minded others.
