Rockbound Canyon 4AR IV

Rockbound Canyon is a beautiful, rugged canyon high in the San Gabriel mountains to the east of Crystal Lake with a descent of almost 3400ft. This involves much downclimbing and bouldering as well as a challenging two-stage rappel descent of the huge, 250ft headwall. It is a tough and physically demanding hike for the experienced canyoneer. See beta at http://www.dankat.com/advents/rockbd.htm. This event is limited to experienced canyoneers only.

That webbing can't go to waste! Someone needs to go and take advantage of your anchor work. It is a great place to work on down climbing skills for sure. Bring lots of water. We all had 3 liters and ran out.

I have a 200', 100', and 60' that I can bring plus webbing. I also have a 300' if it makes sense for linking the 250' head wall rap.

For group gear we will need three 200' static ropes, 50' of webbing, and 5 rapides. From the drop-in to the recovery vehicle it is a 3400' elevation drop so everyone should be prepared for lots of fun downclimbing. Bring lots of water.

I don't have 200' of rope... I do have 200' of pull cord and 120' of rope. Let me know how much webbing u would like me to bring.

I'll be bringing 3 rap rings and 30 or more feet of webbing. For ropes, I have a 120 and 100. We can tie these together as a pull for a 200 if necessary.
