A royal affair: Read up on royalty (romantasy, historical fiction, romance)

Dear bookologists,

If you profess love for Bridgerton, The Crown or Reign, I encourage you to give this MeetUp topic a go. This month, may each of you head over to your local library or peruse your own bookshelf, and discover a book centered around royalty. Any high standing public figure will do, whether that is a mayor or the local leader of a village, the point is to look for a family or individual who are dealing with the pressures of being a public figurehead. If there are dragons, elves, magics or general peril, that is also welcome.

Since this is an extremely popular genre, I would encourage everyone to try to read some more diverse authors, but I do understand if you would prefer to stick to some of the more popular novels within this genre.

As a note to members attending for the first time, we do have a R75.00 annual fee that must be paid prior to attending for your first MeetUp of the year.
