Urban Hike & Happy Hour: DC Christmas Tree Trail

Free; 2 hours of walking with limited elevation gain

Join us for a festive evening hike through DC as we visit some of the city’s most iconic holiday displays—topped off with a cozy happy hour to warm up afterward! This social, urban “hike” is a relaxed, walkable route perfect for soaking up the holiday spirit with great company.

Event Highlights:

Union Station Christmas Tree – We’ll kick things off at this classic DC holiday landmark.

U.S. Botanic Garden – Stroll through gorgeous seasonal displays and the outdoor holiday train exhibit.

F Street Holiday Market – Wander through the lively winter market, full of lights, music, and artisan vendors.

CityCenter DC Christmas Tree – Snap a photo in front of one of DC’s most glamorous trees.

The National Christmas Tree – End our scenic route at the famous tree near the White House.

After our festive walk, we’ll head to Astro Beer Hall for a well-earned happy hour, drinks, and good vibes. 🍻

CHC leaders, officers, and representatives shall not be liable for any injuries, loss or damage to persons or property, direct or consequential, arising out of any trips or club activities. Participants will be asked to sign a waiver the day of the hike.
