CSAP Holiday Party

  • to
  • This location is shown only to members

  • Please join us for the CSAP Holiday Party for an evening of fun, great food, conversation, photos and more. You are encouraged to bring your family, and kids are welcome!

We will also be hosting our annual photo challenge contest in which the first place winners from each of the photo challenges will compete against each other.

This year's party will be at the private residence of one of our CSAP members, Chelle Delaney.  So reserve our party on your calendar!

Our main dish is tamales, and as such, we would like to have side dishes that pair well. Below are suggested items to accompany tamales and would ask that you bring a dish or dessert. Sodas, water, and tea will also be provided.  It is permissible to bring your own alcohol.

If you would like to bring a side dish or dessert, please signup at http://www.signupgenius.com/go/30e0d48aaac28a5f58-holiday.

We hope to see you and your family there!

That sounds good, what is it?

      2 · 4h ago

    • Sunilkumar R.

Ken, Dosa is a popular all time food originated from southern part of India. Made with special white rice dough. There are many verities of dosas popular. Sambar is one of the side dish.

Good morning everyone!!! We made it to the day of our party and Mother Nature is being mean!! I hope that all of you are still planning on attending but I'll be happy if most of you do :). The food sign up is/has gone well, but there are still a few of you who haven't said what you're bringing either through the sign up genius or through commenting here. It's going to be a great party, but remember it's a pot luck. If you make a super special world famous dish (like Adrian's chili) show us what you got and bring it :). Looking forward to seeing y'all tonight!!

I am not familiar with most of the items here. But will bring some traditional south India food. And of course not want to sign up in the other portal. I am getting enough junk mails already 😊

The sign up sheet has several slots for 'other' where you can bring a side that is not on the list.

Hi Folks. Looking forward to the party. Some of us who are coming used the recommended "signupgenius" to designate what side dishes we will bring. Looking at the RSVPs it looks like some of us using this conversation to say what they are bringing.

Is there anyway to coordinate this. For example, I used the sign up genius up to bring chips/queso and guacamole/chips for 20 to 25 people. Diane is also bringing chips and quest - which is really great (!) - given that we are up to 36. I went to the signup genius and I can see what I'm brining but can't seem to see a list of all items. Is there a link there to see all items?

It would be helpful if we could see a combined list so we can fill in the gaps.

Oops! Just found the comprehensive list on sign up genius. However, there are items mentioned in these conversations that are being brought (and sound delicious) but are not on the genius list.

Hi folks! Hope everyone is having a wonderful winter so far (😉). We are quickly approaching the party (this Thursday) and we still have a lot of slots available for y'all to bring goodies! This event is a potluck, so we need people to offer to bring a dish. I know a few of you didn't want to sign up online, and that's fine, just trying to get an idea of what we're going to be short on. Thanks so much and I look forward to seeing everyone Thursday!!!

Thanks Judy! It's coming along. But we do need more people to bring an item or two. :)

Also, as of right now we're sitting at 31 (counting the hostess and her husband). I expect the number to fluctuate a bit more.

    Can we bring our cameras?

    November 25

    • Robin R.

I would say yes. I mean, would we be who we are if we didn't at least ask? :)
