In which outdoor skills or subjects are you most proficient?

Hum...we've learned a lot this past year, but I don't think we've mastered any one skill. We have canned, cooked with our sun oven, rocket stove, and dutch oven, have about 3 months of our 1 year food supply (along with menus), and are in the process of building a rain water catch system.

Which outdoor skills or subjects would you most like to learn or improve?

Cooking with a dutch oven, how to build a fire, purifying water, gardening with heirloom seeds, alternate ways to heat home, alternate power sources, alternate communication devices, and edible plant identification.

How far would you be willing to travel for a bushcraft event?

4 hours

Introduction

We have spent the last year learning new skills and acquiring food and equipment to become more self-reliant during any crisis or emergeny. We would like to meet more folks like us to learn and share ideas.
