International and community development are demanding fields that require resilient workers. How do we ensure our longevity and productivity in the field? We'll be hearing from two remarkable people that have been able to foster these key strengths and have developed extraordinary careers:
Ian Howie: Adjunct Professor in International Studies at RMIT University, has spent more than 30 years working in the field of international development, predominately as a UN Official. Ian will be speaking about the challenges and highlights of his career.
Jade Lillie: Is currently the CEO and Director of Footscray Community Arts Centre. Jade's career in arts management has included working in Thailand, Indonesia and with Indigenous Australians. Jade will discuss her experiences developing art and culture with marginalised populations.
