Hi What kind of dog food do you feed your cavaliers? Tami

The question should really read, "What kind of food do you feed your cavaliers?"
Our 14 month old cavalier turns his nose up at all dog food and refuses to eat it.
We prepare home cooked meals for our cavalier, primarily boiled chicken, and to a lesser extent, hamburgers.
We simply don't believe what the Vets say that you should feed your cavalier "dog food."
The canned foods have lots of filler and cheap meat by-products.
The dry food has gone through intense heat processing which takes out the nutrients.
Our motto is, if the food is not good enough for you to eat, then don't give it to your cavalier.
We supplement his diet with a multi vitamin and mineral supplement wrapped in peanut butter.
