syringomyelia- symptoms- pursuing a good vet

Hello All,

My 6 1/2 year old female Cavalier Madison has recently within the last 2 1/2 weeks some symptoms that might be linked to syringomyelia. She recently has yelped or re-colied more when her harness is initially put over her head. She is a rescue so she has always hung her head and been resistant to harnesses. Has starting lifting her right paw when sitting more. Tail is between legs more.

I am in the process of getting a referral to the Central Texas Vet Hospital to pursue this but if anyone has had any experience with this please let me know.

Thanks in advance!
Pam
