What we’re about
Hey, all! This group is for spectral adults (ages 18 - 100) to meet up to network, engage in intelligent discussions, talk about autism and asperger's related issues, do activities, and simply have fun! I wanted to meet other adults on the spectrum but found very few meetup group for adults on the spectrum in the Central Florida area, so I decided to create one myself.
There are only 3 requirements to join:
1. You are over the age of 18.
2. You have Asperger's or another form of high functioning Autism.
3. You promise to be respectful to other group members at all time.
I'm deciding to play this all by ear and plan out fun activities as everything progresses. This is all a team effort. I am the organizer but I want you all to help run the group and make suggestions as well. We are open to adult spectrals from all walks of life; all races, religions, genders, national origins, sexual orientations, and so on. There is a zero tolerance for disrespecting or bullying of other group members!
