November's New Moon is upon us. Lets drum!
The New Moon/Total Solar Eclipse (http://earthsky.org/tonight/new-moon-and-total-eclipse-of-sun-on-november-13-2012) is technically Tuesday November 13, but we are holding Moon Circle early Monday night to honor the Diverse Word poetry group who meets every Tuesday at Dandelion Cafe.
What is the New Moon Circle? Its an open community event with drumming, dance, chanting, singing, local artists, healing, and much more. Meditation, massage, reiki, flutes, guitars, frame drums, tablas, and other musical instruments of a softer volume are all welcome to play together tonight.
Drum Circle starts at 7pm and ends at 10pm. Quite mediation and acoustic music is allowed between 10pm and 12am. The Moon Circle scene is family friendly, but kids must stay supervised.
Dandelion Cafe (http://dandelioncommunitea.com/) features beverages and organic vegetarian food to keep us fueled for the celebration. Their kitchen is open till 10pm tonight and since its Monday you can enjoy a Giddyup for only $5. Hands down, their most beloved menu item of all time is now available for just $5 every Monday 11am to 10pm. Giddyup Monday (http://dandelioncommunitea.com/events/giddyup-monday/) a great deal to combo with an amazing night of music and merry making.
Mr. Robert Johnson (http://us.myspace.com/mrrobertjohnson) will also be performing live music inside Dandelion Tonight between 6-8pm.
All traditions and faiths come together to honor the gifts of our shared community, planet, and universe in music, rhythm, and fellowship. Come sit in the garden and enjoy a moment to heal and commune each New and Full Moon. The energy of the circles is different each time, shifting with the lunar cycles. Bring an instrument and a friend, or make new ones around the circle.
This circle is supported by YOU. It is a community run initiative, and YOUR generosity keeps these circles grooving for time to come. We gratefully receive donations to keep this circle open -- thank you for giving from your heart to the donation drum. What would you pay to see a great concert or a good movie? Share a gift equal to the value you receive and keep paying these circles forward.
Don't have a drum? No worries, thanks to Remo Drums (http://www.remo.com/) we have community instruments to share. Its a lot of fun, don't miss out!

It is our belief that by living in greater harmony with the natural cycles that guide us, we develop a greater relationship to the planet and thus it becomes easier to walk our path lightly upon her. To help our community connect with the lunar cycle, we celebrate the New Moon and Full Moon with community music circles.
