Standing Room Only-Obamacare Nullification Hearing

Standing Room Only-Obamacare Nullification Hearing

Thank you everyone, for phone calls, emails, personal visits to legislators, and to those who could be there. We hope to have video soon. I saw Ron Kelderman with his camera.

Hundreds of Obamacare Opponents filled the room, and not everyone got to speak, even though the meeting went on until it was necessary for legislators to be in State House Chambers.

They promised another meeting, and to allow citizens to speak.  It will be up to us to see that is done.

Delleney brought in an academic from the University to make us believe that nullifiication won't work (our tax money at work).  Yet another academic argued that nullification is legal and acceptable and constitutional (our thanks to Rick Quinn for this one).  We are pleased Quinn did that; now he needs to get his name off Delleney's bill and put it on Representative Chumley's bill, asap. (put a bug in his ear, please).  We had 2 doctors speak against Obamacare and the need to stop this in S.C.

Delleney's kill-bill is a weak-kneed effort that would do little else but register mild displeasure with Obamacare. It is designed to draw support away from our bill.

Representative Chumley's bill actually would protect South Carolinians from federal intrusion and the tyranny of the unconstitutional federal Obamacare bill
 - which is still being written by federal bureaucrats.  How about federal home visits to see if you are providing the proper environment for your children? How about electronic records of your doctor visits (useless to your doctor -- but hey, it may help the feds decide whether you deserve treatment)?  How about forcing you to purchase and pay for insurance you cannot afford - better do it - they can seize your accounts.

Don't let up on them - not for one minute.  This time, let's both call and email members of the committee, and go see them.

Let's tell them to approve     H-3101   Representative Bill Chumley's bill
They need to get some backbone and stand up to federal tyranny!

Here we go again. . .

Of these committee members, only Walt McLeod (a Democrat) has not signed Delleney's kill-bill.  Let em have it!
