Standing Room Only-Obamacare Nullification
Thank you everyone, for phone calls, emails,
personal visits to legislators, and to those who could be there. We hope to have
video soon. I saw Ron Kelderman with his camera.
Hundreds of Obamacare Opponents filled the room,
and not everyone got to speak, even though the meeting went on until it was
necessary for legislators to be in State House Chambers.
They promised another meeting, and to allow
citizens to speak. It will be up to us to see that is
Delleney brought in an academic from the University
to make us believe that nullifiication won't work (our tax money at work).
Yet another academic argued that nullification is legal and acceptable and
constitutional (our thanks to Rick Quinn for this one). We are pleased
Quinn did that; now he needs to get his name off Delleney's bill and put it on
Representative Chumley's bill, asap. (put a bug in his ear, please). We
had 2 doctors speak against Obamacare and the need to stop this in
Delleney's kill-bill is a weak-kneed effort that
would do little else but register mild displeasure with Obamacare. It is
designed to draw support away from our bill.
Representative Chumley's bill actually would
protect South Carolinians from federal intrusion and the tyranny of the
unconstitutional federal Obamacare bill
- which is still being written by federal
bureaucrats. How about federal home visits to
see if you are providing the proper environment for your children? How about
electronic records of your doctor visits (useless to your doctor -- but hey, it
may help the feds decide whether you deserve treatment)? How about forcing
you to purchase and pay for insurance you cannot afford - better do it - they
can seize your accounts.
Don't let up on them - not for one
minute. This time, let's both call and email members of the committee, and
go see them.

approve H-3101 Representative Bill Chumley's
They need to get some backbone and stand up to federal
