    What we're about

CNMTC accepts / begins handling general membership requests only during the month of October. Other months, new-member processing is only by sponsorship from existing members with input from the CNMTC Organizers.

Related-ly, an expected minimum multi-pitch skill set is discussed on the page linked below titled "Submitting a Membership Request" ... involving one or more check-out sessions. Also note that virtually all CNMTC members reside in or near Albuquerque, NM.

    What is CNMTC about?

Central NM Trad Climb is an informally organized group of folks in the vicinity of Albuquerque NM who's outdoor interests include multi-pitch climbing. Currently, the primary advantage of CNMTC membership is a set of skill-building sessions usually scheduled during the off season. A secondary advantage may be multi-day trips in the climbing season, assuming members choose to organize them through CNMTC.

The climber is responsible for maintaining appropriate knowledge, experience, and skills for the type of climbing the climber chooses to do. The competent climber also considers these things when choosing a climb partner(s). While checkout sessions are part of processing CNMTC membership requests, CNMTC does not enforce the maintenance of competencies.

For professionally guided training and climbing, one must seek resources outside of CNMTC.

For more details regarding this group, the below links contain important information about CNMTC membership and are best viewed using a wide screen (e.g., the font can be a bit small on a smart phone).
