Whiteoak Canyon and Cedar Run Trail Loop- Day Hike 9.0 miles
Details
This hike has some of the most spectacular waterfalls in the Shenandoah National Park. Combining two out-and-back hikes, White Oak Canyon & Cedar Run, this loop starts at the bottom of the valley and cuts over near the top of the ridge. With five major falls, numerous smaller cascades and pools, this circuit hike is one of the best.
Pace will be closer to 2.0-2.5 mph as necessary.
No meeting at the trailhead.
I will match the group’s pace to that of the slowest hiker.
9 miles @ 2.2 mph = 4 hours of hike time.
Typically we combine these hikes with OPTIONAL visits to local wineries for tastings and bon vivanterie.
