  • Cost: Free. Donations Appreciated.
  • Snacks & Beverages are available for purchase.
  • Contact: Laura Casaletto, [masked], (616)[masked]

"Autobiography of a Bigot" with Steve:

"Although I was brought up as a child going to church/Sunday school/Summer bible school....I knew by around the age of 10 that the religion I was taught was ostensibly nonsense. It appeared to me just like all the other Santa Claus/Easter Bunny/Tooth Fairy mythical characters I knew about at that age.

Here is where the bigotry comes in. I have been tested a bit higher in IQ testing....but I am certainly not off the charts...and fall within the normal range of most of us. Yet I find/found most of my contemporaries to lag woefully behind in picking up on the anthropological god mirage.

If "they" are that slow then what else are "they" that slow at. I find that slowness inexcusable and question the very integrity of their critical thinking skills.

Thus I am a bigot (not proud of it) and I need my fellow Cafe Inquirers to convene an intervention to dissuade me of my bigotry. Perhaps a exorcism is more apropos."
