Details

Café Inquiry is a casual event starting with a short 10-15 minute introduction of the day's topic followed by open discussion. At 12:00pm we will break for coffee/brunch and a chance to socialize.

Members are welcome to propose and schedule a topic which would be of interest toward establishing a secular society based on science, reason, freedom of inquiry, and humanist values. Please contact us if you have a topic that you would like to discuss at an upcoming Café Inquiry.

This week's topic is The Marketplace of Ideas: Is It Still Useful? Nathan Zwierzynski will present this Sunday’s topic on the Marketplace of ideas. A link to a video overview on the concept can be found here: https://youtu.be/kqHql6XeQVs

Café Inquiry (Grand Rapids) meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each Month, and there are usually about 15-25 people at Café Inquiry events.

Note: Meetup is one of several places we list our events and we don't require RSVP's like some meetups do, so the number of "Attendees" doesn't reflect actual attendance.
