Book Recommendation

I'm reading Letters from an Atheist Nation (had to buy it, library doesn't stock) and it is really engrossing--essays from the Blue Grass Blade "survey" of 1903. Considering the time, and considering the location (Kentucky!) these "regular-citizen-submitted" pieces about godlessness are remarkable (inspiring and moving at times). The infidels and heathens came out of their culturally-imposed silences and really let fly. It's powerful stuff! I owe the FFRF for pointing me to this terrific book.
