"Surviving the 21st Century as a Thought Worker" with Jennifer Bullard, Chairman of the International Game Developers Association
Jennifer Bullard Jennifer Bullard is a long-time veteran of the video game industry, having developed more than 20 games during her career. She has worked on titles like Heroes of Might & Magic, The Sims II, and many more. Her career started in Los Angeles working initially in quality assurance, then design, and then eventually headed into production. After six years, Bullard moved to Austin and became more active in aspects of development, managing a new department, and building large teams.
Bullard is the chapter chair for IGDA-Austin and works regularly with diverse groups to support game developers, studios and students in greater Austin. She also leads efforts on the Texas Creative Incubator and the Captivate Conference. Jennifer's goal is to create a business ecosystem that supports an ever-growing community of digital media creatives. In short, Bullard wants to make Austin "The Creative Capital of the World".
