UT Parking

There is no easy option for non-UT folks regarding parking. As far as I know there is no on-street parking anywhere on campus unless you have a UT permit. There are several parking garages. For events at Welch Hall (24th and Speedway), where Hot Science Cool Talks usually meets, the closest are ones at 24th and San Jacinto or one near Speedway and Dean Keeton. After 6 pm there may be free public parking on Dean Keeton east of San Jacinto – it’s metered before 6.

Parking garages are colored purple on the map.
