Drawing on the research in animal behaviour, cognitive ethology, and philosophy, Michael works to broaden the terms in which one can consider the nature of non-human animals and their cognitive abilities. Species ranging from ants and bees to Chimpanzees and Dolphins can characterize important lessons about nature, biology and ourselves.
