Welcome to the meet-up for Char Yoga Fitness & Intuitive Wellness. This group is open to all yogis, meditators and fitness enthusiasts and especially those living with chronic and systemic pain, chronic inflammation and chronic fatigue.
Char is a Movement, Fitness & Wellness Professional, a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 200 & RYT 500) a Meditation Teacher & Mindfulness Guide, a Reiki Practitioner/Master Teacher and Professional Sound Healer. Char’s yoga teacher training and ever evolving twenty year yoga practice is deeply rooted in alignment based Vinyasa, with an emphasis on Ashtanga, Iyengar and Baptiste lineages and she’s completed much of her advanced yoga teacher training within these ancient yogic traditions. In addition to completing advanced training and studies in Yin Yoga and years of study, training and teaching as a professional in the fitness industry. Her personal journey also includes a lifelong battle with a physically debilitating, degenerative and genetic autoimmune disease and her daily existence consists of managing related chronic and systemic pain, inflammation and chronic fatigue. As a result, it became very important for her to help others with similar challenges which was her motivation for starting this meetup group 7 year ago. She also helps non-sufferers with their wellness goals and preventative care efforts.
Char offers a variety of yoga classes. Including yoga for chronic pain, adaptive yoga, chair yoga, yoga nidra, aerial yoga, power yoga, vinyasa, slow flow, yin yoga, gentle and restorative yoga classes for their incredibly therapeutic benefits. She also offers integrative healing practices through Reiki, Aromatherapy, Bodywork, Meditation, Mindfulness & Sound Healing. She is also trained to work with breast cancer patients at all stages of detection & care; including those with lymphedema. Char combines her multidisciplinary background with her lifelong studies and ongoing training to help her clients experience deeply transformative and long-term lifestyle improvements.
