This is a mix of technical & process questions. where & what do you use for publishing the ruby documentation of internal gems?
At $WORK we have a couple gems of internal APIs that we need the rest of the development team to stay abreast of and also business users to see what is/is not possible. So we want to publish that documentation internally than make business people install ruby && git pull && yard. We use Confluence for most of our documentation now.
I’m wondering if anyone has generated rdoc then imported the HTML into Confluence.
What I don’t know is as the rdoc evolves if Confluence will properly update version and overwrite existing HTML or will Confluence just keep adding the content as new if the HTML is imported after each new gem version.
Horror stories, gotchas, and suggestions of other solutions appreciated.
