Yin “Stillness” & Yang “Movement”
This 75 minute practice beings with Yin postures (floor postures with longer holds) to created space in the joints and connective tissues which will “aerate the soil” to prepare for Yang postures (Standing postures) that improve strength, muscle flexibility, balance and stamina.
One is not more important that the other, they are different sides of the same coin that make up the whole picture of freedom of movement with ease in the body.
This class is taught by master yoga instructor , Elaine Parker, who has taught yoga for 15 years in Charlotte, NC
