Talladega Nights Potluck-with Board and Card Games-Sunday Brunch

Details
A too Hot to Hike Summer Series!
Let's just hang out together someplace and play some games and share some food.
It's the dog days of summer. No, literally it is. From July third to August 11th. Still too hot for me to hike.
So how about a Talladega Nights Potluck and play some games? It's an easy way for us to all eat together and not Shake and bake on the trail.
A chill Sunday.
It is a Wholesome family scene for Ricky Bobby's potluck in Talladega Nights where they are all gathered together for the bounteous fare his wife has prepared from the best Fast food establishments.
Ricky says grace
"Dear Lord Baby Jesus, or as our brothers in the South call you: 'Hey-suz'. We thank you so much for this bountiful harvest of Dominos, KFC, and the always delicious Taco Bell. I just want to take time to say thank you for my family: my two beautiful, beautiful, handsome striking sons, Walker and Texas Ranger, or TR as we call him. And, of course, my red hot smokin' wife Carley, who is a stone cold fox, who if you would rate her..."
It is an Epic blessing of the food and Carley's behind.
Life is about the important things and he seems to be covering them here.
I am giving everyone time to go to church and the drive through so you can be there for a Sunday brunch COA/Ricky Bobby style.
Let's do a Talladega nights Potluck. Have a special dish you love to prepare and share with others? Bring it!
Don't have time for that? Swing through the drive through and grab a Taco Bell Luxe box, or a sack of Krystals Hamburgers and bring them. A box of Chicken from the Colonel? Bring it don't overthink it.
See? it's easy! This is meant to be easy.
Bring a board or card game you want to play and we hangout in Air-conditioned comfort to eat and play games.
Not fancy, but neither was Ricky Bobby. I Googled because you can find the most useless information on the internet. I am addicted to that. "The scene features a "bountiful harvest of Domino's, KFC and the always delicious Taco Bell". The specific items mentioned are: two large Domino's pizzas, eight Checkers Double Burgers, six Taco Bell Crunchy Tacos, a 16-piece KFC bucket with sides and biscuits, a two-liter bottle of Coca-Cola, four 28-ounce bottles of Powerade, a six-pack of Budweiser, a loaf of Wonder Bread, and a tub of Country Crock margarine,"
I guess the Country crock is for Buttering them biscuits. MMhhmm. Wait that's mustard... Wrong movie. That's Slingblade and it was mustard MMMHMMM..
So where do we do this? There is a place a couple of streets over from my place that does not serve food, but let's you bring your own. Called and asked about doing this. They said "Bring them!" He was excited It's perfect. This is a great place to do stuff like this. Share your food with the bartenders too. They like that.
A few of us have been here before. Full bar including a drink item called a Lucky 7 which includes a Montucky Cold Snack beer, Benchmark shot,• and a Lotto Ticket.
I take you guys to the classy places.
So sign up in the Comments with what you're bringing or Just show up with a bag of fast food. I don't care. Just show up. Bake it or buy it. Does not matter. Your presence is what we're really looking for. We'd love to have you.
Bring a game or two you would like to play.
It is Sunday so Chik Fil A is probably out of the question. Unless you know someone. A Southside pizza or Bojangles is nice in it's place. There are literally gobs of easy places.
Let's
Shake and Bake!
Note: Since they are letting us do this please be very attentive to cleaning up when we're done. I'd like to use them again.
Just a casual invite to this as well. Put at the end, but it is here for those interested.
I attend Silverdale-St Elmo's Campus 9:00 am service. I like the pastor and the music leader. They do their own service not a broadcast from one of the other locations.
Silverdale St. Elmo
500 St Elmo Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37409
I will be there beforehand. You can meet me there before if you would like. Park in the back. Take the back steps up I sit as you face the front on the right side, back row, middle section.
