Why did you first get interested in knitting?

My aunt made the most beautiful blanket for me when I was born, and in college my mother finally handed it down to me. It was about this time that my sisters started having kids, so I wanted to make blankets for them as well. Needless to say, I completed one and became overwhelmed with finishing school.

Who taught you to knit?

My Aunt Beth.

How long have you been knitting?

It has been about 10 years since I knitted, but I am excited to start again! My parents just started raising alpacas and are milling their coats into wool. I want to be able to make something beautiful out of it!

Since moving to Chicago three years ago I have started knitting again, however, my job consumes most of my time and I find myself struggling to find time to finish projects. I think this may be just the thing I need to find my motivation!
