THE PURPOSE OF OUR GROUP is for our members to have fun playing in our highly popular D&D and Pathfinder campaigns run by our highly talented and experienced DMs. We announce any new campaign openings for players below, as well as send out emails to members. In addition, we are always LOOKING FOR MORE DUNGEON MASTERS to provide more campaigns for our players!  We offer expert advice and assistance to new and veteran DMs, including setting up new campaigns. PLAYER OPENINGS NOW AVAILABLE IN TWO OF OUR CAMPAIGNS!

(1) Baldur’s Gate - Descent into Avernus (D&D 5th)
We are currently seeking 2-3 experienced players for this epic D&D 5th campaign. This is the second time our Organizer DM has done this heroic campaign, which is based on the popular Baldur's Gate - Descent into Avernus adventure.  (See player evaluations from this first Descent campaign below). We just completed the first half of the campaign, where the party defeated a powerful Devil cult that had taken over Baldur's Gate. We are currently taking a break in order to allow the new players time to create characters at the same level as the party (12th). We will then have a "Session 00" to introduce the second half of the campaign, which will feature the entirely new goal of rescuing their home city of Elturel in a radically different setting - Avernus, the First Plane of HELL!! The exceptional encounters and challenges that await in this utterly alien and extremely dangerous venue will provide players with a truly unique experience, as well as the very rare opportunity to advance as high as 20th level! (2) Battle for the Underdark (Pathfinder 1st ed)
There are several openings currently available for either new or experienced PF 1st ed players in this new and highly imaginative homebrew campaign! It is set in an entirely different world than most campaigns - the Underdark located far below the surface! For their character, players must select from one of the three most powerful (and often fighting) races in the Underdark: (1) Drow (dark elves); (2) Duegar (Gray Dwarves) and (3) Deep Gnomes. At the start, the PCs suddenly find themselves unexpectedly thrown together with a secret faction battling a great and ancient evil. Now they must find a way to overcome their deep historical tensions and prejudices and come together, or the future of all three of their native races (and many others) may be in jeopardy! OTHER CURRENT ONGOING CAMPAIGNS (No Players Needed at This Time)

Legacy of the Runelords (Pathfinder 1st ed)
This epic campaign is a "Mythic" extension of the very popular "Rise of the Runelords" campaign that Rich, the longtime DM, completed before the Pandemic. Afterwards, he enlisted our help to find new PF (1st) players for his new extension campaign. This deep and exciting campaign is ongoing and doing well!

SOME EXAMPLES OF OUR RECENT PAST CAMPAIGNS

In 2022-23, we assisted Bill, a highly experienced DM who recently moved to Chicago, in setting up and starting his new biweekly D&D 5th ed campaign. In fact, Bill did not have just ONE great campaign. Rather, he had SEVEN! Each campaign is original or “homebrewed” and based on a wide variety of really cool sources and themes. We found five great players and played his most popular campaign, "The Whisperers"!

From 2020 to 2022, our Organizer DM ran his epic "Decent Into Avernus" D&D 5th ed. Campaign, set in The Forgotten Realms.  The players especially enjoyed the rare opportunity to play at the highest levels and explore other worlds and planes!  Ultimately, their mighty heroes were able to prevail in Avernus, the first plane of Hell!

Our Organizer DM also ran his Pathfinder campaign “The Last Empire” for 6 years with different groups of players! The player characters were recruited by the Vanguard to be elite secret agents acting on behalf of the Valarian Empire.  The characters traveled all over the legendary world of The Forgotten Realms.
