Let's play cards. New attendees welcome!
Details
Let's have fun, meet people, and play Euchre.
If you haven't attended this event before, it's a good week to do so! We'll have a designated person showing new attendees the ropes.
If you have any questions or concerns please text me [Ben] at 319-541-5891

Depending on the number of people playing, the top 3-5 spots will be paid out.
The pay-out spots and dollar amounts will be finalized before the first round.
RSVP Guidelines
DO put yourself on our Waitlist even if the meetup is filled. When/if a spot opens, the organizer can change your RSVP and move you to an open spot.
DO NOT cancel last minute (less than 24 hrs). It places an additional and stressful burden on the organizers (we are all volunteers) to find a sub. Not to mention, it may force the rest of the group to play with only three players which is not as much fun.
DO place yourself on the waitlist if you'd like to play but are uncertain if you'll be able to attend.
DO NOT RSVP "yes" merely to save a spot if you are uncertain whether you can make the game. It is unfair to members who can commit to the date and want to play. Patterns of repeated cancellations are being noticed and a pattern of no-shows, late appearances etc. could be cause for removal from the group.
DO please be on time so everyone can start playing at game time. Please be advised that if you get there late, we may fill your spot with someone we find at the bar. Still, one would hope that won't happen and you would have called the organizer first.
Rules
The basic (Hoyle) rules of Euchre are applied.
"Stick the dealer" is in; other variations (e.g. "ace-no-face," "farmer's hand" etc.) are out.
If there is a question/clarification needed in the rules, consult the organizer before the next trick begins.
