    Hi Judah,
The "About Page" has been changed toreflect this group's interest in Beginners, Intermediate, and Advanced Speakers. Self-study is terrific. Hope you are able to join the group!

Thanks Evelyn. It's always a bit scary when trying to speak a new language so hopefully by seeing others do it I will be inspired to continue.

Just another comment. I read the "About page" for this group and now realize it is for intermediate/fluent speakers of Chinese. I really am a beginner so I'm not sure how I can participate. Suggestions? As I mentioned in my profile I'm doing self-study. Are there beginning conversation groups or classes in the area that you guys recommend? Thanks!

    Hi,
I'm brand-new to this group and this show looks great. I'd like to attend but I'm wondering about the tickets. Is it general seating and will we try and sit together or are we on our own for this? Also do we meet up beforehand or after? Thanks for helping a newcomer!

Hello All and Welcome Judah and other newcomers,
This is Evelyn from the Leadership Team. We thank Ricky for making this opportunity known to the group. Its wonderful when our members actively participate. The main organizers of the Chinese Language Meetup cannot attend every event so we are happy to encourage members to volunteer and "gather themselves" or it becomes a no-host event. If the group is meeting beforehand or after, we need a volunteer and you can post it here...otherwise, Enjoy!
