What are your favorite Chinese dishes and foods?

Dumplings and Mongolian Beef

How would you describe your level of Chinese? (Eg it's my native language OR I don't speak it OR I learned some dialect from my family but little Mandarin, OR I can speak a few words, simple conversations, etc.)

I can understand more than I can speak. I read pinyin better than traditional. Probably intermediate level.

What kind of events and activities would you be interested in? What would you like to do at our events?

Language and Cultural Lessons. Social Events would be welcomed too.

What could this group provide for you that no other Meetup could?

Structured lessons.

Where did you grow up? How did you learn Chinese? Tell us your story.

I was born in Vietnam but grew up in the US. I studied Chinese in college for 3 years.

My name is My-Phuong. I was born in Vietnam but have been living in the US for about 20 years. I studied Chinese briefly in college. I hope to continue to sharpen my skill by studying with fellow students of Chinese in this group.
