Description and some guidelines for group participation:

We are an informal conversation, study and social group. Regular events are focused on the opportunity to practice speaking Mandarin. We gather to practice with other Mandarin learners. Our Meetups are not a class, unless it is described specifically as a lesson. Please bring with you any books or other materials you are using to study. Native speakers are most welcome! You can meet language exchange partners at the Meetup events.

Some Rules:
-Do not post on the boards for exchange partners. It is best to come and meet each other in person. Please do not give your private information on the public boards.
-Selling and recruiting are not permitted at our events. Please do not promote schools, tutoring, or other businesses at any Meetups. You can mention in your profile if you are a teacher or tutor.
-Off Topic meetup suggestions require permission from the organizer and a demonstration of how the topic may benefit language learners. Off topic meetup suggestions not meeting these criteria may be removed at the sole discretion of the Organizer.

-Photos:
Photos of members at Meetup events are welcome. Please be courteous and ask before taking and posting photos of members. 10 photo upload limit per event. Photos may be removed at the discretion of the Organizer.

The Boston Chinatown Neighborhood Center hosts our monthly Chinatown meetings in their new building in Chinatown. This is done as part of their mission to promote educational and recreational activites for residents of Boston's Chinatown and the Asian community. BCNC offers weekend cultural activities as well as intergenerational family programming to immigrant families. Thanks, BCNC!!!
