What level of Chinese do you speak?

Not sure. Perhaps advanced intermediate? My colloquial Chinese can be quite good but my vocabulary needs to be better and I have trouble trying to ask about or explain complicated things

Where did you learn Chinese?

At college, plus 6 months in China, one year in Hong Kong taking classes, and a year living in Taiwan.

How or why did you start learning Chinese?

Just by chance in college. I ran out of classes I wanted to take because they all met at the same times, so I took Chinese on a whim and loved my teacher. After studying in China in 1984 I never looked back

I am really hoping to reverse my ebbing Chinese skills by having a chance to practice speaking and listening again.
