What level of Chinese do you speak?

One of my majors in college was Chinese and I have taken courses up to the 400 level.

Where did you learn Chinese?

I started out learning Chinese at Middlebury during the fall of 2008. In the winter and spring of 2011 I studied abroad at Capital Normal University in Beijing.

How or why did you start learning Chinese?

I was able to travel to Beijing during a high school exchange program during the summer of 2005. That initiated my interest in Chinese language and culture and it became something I wanted to be involved with ever since.

Hello, my name is Jack Maher and I am a recent graduate of Middlebury College living and working in Boston. I would love to keep up my Chinese and learn more in the future.
