Essential Oils are one of the greatest and most accessible modalities of healing. However, they are also very often misused. Essential oils work on the Wei, Ying, & Yuan aspects of our being and provide the practitioner a powerful tool when working on mental and emotional disorders as they have a direct relationship to the Shen.

In this 90 minute Meetup, the speaker will define what essential oils are, what are their classifications, and functions and basic practical applications that you can use in your practice.

Marc J. Gian, L. Ac, LMT, has been practicing Tui Na since 1998 and Acupuncture since 2003. He received his Masters in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College in 2003. Later that year he discovered the benefits of essential oils and soon after began to study with Jeffrey Yuen. He has been incorporating them into both his massage and acupuncture practices ever since. In 2006, Marc developed the Essential Oils course at Pacific College, where it has become one their most popular courses.
