Many people encounter God through the "temple" that is his creation or nature. Look, hear, smell, touch, and even taste God on walks in nature. I propose meditative walks in small groups reflecting on what we encounter in nature, and sharing what we have encountered at the end. Very informal and group-led. And of course bring flasks of tea/coffee or food to share at the end. I propose the likes of Storeton Woods, Dibbinsdale LNR, Eastham Country Park, Port Sunlight Riverside Park and other similar areas. There is also a local Forest Church meeting roughly 4 times a year at different places to become involved in. Ecumenical and all welcome including well behaved dogs.
