🎉 What: CCL Huntsville Holiday Hangout
Join Citizens' Climate Lobby Huntsville chapter to take collective action on climate change.
When: Wednesday, December 17th, 6:30-9:00pm CT
(Arrive at 6:00pm for social chat / orientation / get seats & food)
Where: Stovehouse (pls RSVP so we know how large a table we need!)

Agenda

Hey folks,

Instead of our regular December meeting, we're just going to have a casual, informal social gathering. Invite partners, invite friends, invite folks you think would be interested. Come and talk to each other about your lives, and come introduce outside friends to CCL.

Come find us, between 6-6:30pm, get food and beverages from the food court. Once everyone is back with their food, then we can do introductions of everyone and we might share a couple of announcements for the new year. After that, it'll be a free for all socializing.

*New and new-ish members: Feel free to join at 6:00pm for new people orientation and Q&A.

RSVP for this meeting so we know how large a table to save, make sure we can find each other, and if anyone we're expecting goes missing!

6:00 PM: New and new-ish members: Feel free to join for orientation and Q&A.
6:00–6:30 PM: Find us and grab food and beverages from the food court!
6:30 PM onwards: Once everyone is back with their food, we'll do introductions and share a couple of brief announcements for the new year. After that, it will be a free-for-all socializing!

📍LOCATION IN STOVEHOUSE:

and you have better ideas about where 6-20 people can hang out and meet and talk than the ones outlined here, please share below.

* If you have NOT been to Stovehouse before, read carefully
The place can be a maze, and there really not a map online anywhere >_< .
Stovehouse is the name of the entire complex, not a specific restaurant.
The best map of the area are the physical ones at the entrance, of which I'm sharing a photograph in the comments below, where I've circled our most likely meeting spots, unless someone has better inside info.

We will have a CCL sign for those who are new, and we will also post updates to the comments below on this event, when we arrive and settle in. You can also wear obviously climate or 🌎 environmental-themed swag and we'll probably invite you to join us! :-)

Option 1.
The Booth - This is an indoor community seating area, a little behind the music stage, past the open space and food street. The wall says "Sit a SPELL, THE BOOTH Community Seating." If it gets filled up or we think we'd prefer the fresh air we might pick another option

Option 2.
The Breezeway - This is outside but somewhat covered. DRESS WARMLY or as appropriate for staying outdoors. It's farther away from the main food area, but also away from the music and noise.

Option 3.
There is a large open greenspace with a lot of tables, on one side of the Food Garden between the food and the PourHouse, near-ish directory map 515 Kamado Dragon. There may be live music. Again, dress warmly, maybe we'll see stars.
