What we're about
Join us at Clapham Connectors, we are a local group of people who all have the same aim. To become better public speakers and leaders. Some of us are self employed, others are looking to further our careers, some looking to give back to our community, and all of us are looking for an enjoyable evening where we can learn something to help us become more confident when speaking before an audience.
Why not join us and start on your path to becoming a connected, a connected leader.
Our meetings usually take the format of three to four prepared speeches which are each evaluated, allowing the speaker to improve through identification of their strengths and areas for improvement. The speeches are followed by a network break, after which we have a Table Topics session. The Table Topics session allows you to practice your impromptu speaking, which really helps you to improve your responses to those difficult questions we all get asked every day.
We meet on the second and fourth Mondays of every month at 7.15pm.
- One first meeting of the month is usually online via zoom.
- Our second meeting of the month is usually at the Omnibus Theatre, SW4 0QW.
Come and join us and get on the path to a more confident, connected you.
