MILLION DOLLAR MERMAID technicolor Esther Williams & Victor Mature

Details
When a movie is choreographed by Busby Berkeley, you know you will experience special effects scenes that seem impossible. Watch the movie "Dames" and awe at how he created true, superb, movie magic way back in the 1930's.
Not only does Mermaid have his talents, but it was also filmed in wonderful, beautiful Technicolor, a process that makes every scene look like a colorful, painted masterpiece.
The story is based on true-life swimming champion, Annette Kellerman. I'm not going to describe the plot, because I prefer to allow movies I've never seen to draw me into their marvelous mysteries. And I have never seen this one, so for those who come, we will discover its wonders together.
I plan to get there at 4:30 pm.
There is a pre-show at 5pm, with the movie starting at 6. The theatre seats only 50 people, so it would be wise to purchase tickets before hand. I'm buying mine today. When you walk into the building, you give them your name and they give you your ticket. The times I have attended there have always been good crowds. I suspect this might be a sell-out.
TIP: It has a combination theatre seats and cushy chairs. Get there early enough, and grab a comfortable seat.
Finally, though it only holds 50 people, the screen is large enough to make it a true movie going experience.
Parking---There is a huge free parking lot at one end of the sort of strip mall like structure the theatre is a part of. Or you can park on either side of the street. I park on the street.
