What are some of your favorite classical guitar pieces/composers?

I really enjoy the classical guitar transcriptions of John Dowland (Lacrimae, The Earl of Essex Galliard, Queen Elisabeth's Galliard, The King of Denmark's Galliard, etc.), J.S. Bach - his lute suites, S.L. Weiss, Fernando Sor, Antonio Lauro, etc.

How did you become interested in classical guitar?

I saw a clip of Segovia in concert on TV.

Have you been to a classical guitar concert recently that you really liked?

Not recently, but I attended a concert at Sundin Hall a number of years back that featured Sharon Isbin.

I studied classical guitar in college and performed at the Minnesota Renaissance Festival with a classical guitar (I know, it's not a period instrument. I just didn't have access to a lute and hadn't acquired lute technique.)
