What we're about

Cleveland Christians Unite is a city-wide group of believers that brings brothers and sisters from all over the area together in fun and fellowship.

We like to experience what we've been blessed with in the city and out in nature. From jamming out at concerts to hiking in the Metroparks, there are plenty of opportunities to hang out.

But we also recognize the need to come together to share the Gospel with each other or show Christ's love to those in the community. There are also opportunities to study and serve.

We only have two rules:

* Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. (Matthew 22:37)

* Love your neighbor as yourself. (Matthew 22:39)

Whether you're new to town or a Cleveland native, whatever your denomination is, as long as you confess Jesus as Savior and Lord and treat each other well, you're welcome here.

It's important for us to be able to keep an accurate count of RSVPs. We'd like people to have an idea of what turnout will be like, and some events require us to make reservations. We understand that circumstances do change, so if you need to cancel at the last minute, please let the organizer know.

If you no-show to events three times without providing an explanation, you will be removed from the group. Members removed this way can reapply to join after six months. This roughly follows the Apostle Paul's example for church discipline.

The 10-10 Festival of Plays

Chagrin Valley Little Theatre

https://cvlt.org/events/1010festival-2019/ CVLT’s one-acts series returns with a fresh selection of ten-minute plays! CVLT began the biennial 10-10 Festival in 2009, putting out the call for short plays to be performed at its River Street Playhouse, the smaller venue adjacent to the main theater building. Ten plays would be chosen, each lasting roughly ten minutes. The first 10-10 that July was a resounding success, receiving submissions from all over Northeast Ohio and beyond. Additional time info: Complimentary wine and snacks before the performance and during intermission.

Serving the Homeless with True Freedom Ministries

Norma Herr Women's Center

Summer is fun for us, but the homeless still struggle with hunger and the elements. Join us as we partner with True Freedom Ministries to distribute food & clothing and pray with the homeless at a women's shelter, a men's shelter, and a halfway home. There will be many other churches and groups there, so you should not feel unsafe. If you'd like to drive yourself there, meet us at the address in the event description. If you want to carpool, leave a comment in the event description and come to Cornerstone Community Church (1400 Lander Road, Mayfield Heights, OH 44124) at 7:00. I (Justin) will be carpooling with a few other members of Cornerstone. True Freedom Ministries is a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the light of the Gospel to the "least of these" in our inner city community: the homeless, the addicts, and the prisoners. If you have any questions or need help finding the shelter, you can call or text Justin at[masked]

Taking matters into her own hands, she sets off on her own to find out who—or what—God really is. Along the way she meets a number of characters who have very different views on God. In the end she’s forced to make her own decisions on God and her search.
