** Get started with our shared sprint doc (http://lb.cm/cle). **
Drupal Sprint Weekend (http://groups.drupal.org/node/277768) is a chance to join with others around the world to help make Drupal better.
In a Sprint we work together to fix issues or improve parts of Drupal. At this sprint we'll focus our work on Drupal 8 core. This is a chance to contribute back to the project, dig deeper into Drupal, and learn to navigate and participate in the community.
If you've built or worked on a Drupal site, you can contribute; we'll find a place for all levels to participate. If you don't have programming skills, you can work on documentation or something else.
Jeff Schuler (http://www.meetup.com/cleveland-drupal/members/545056/?a=viewBioRsvpList_showBio) and Persa Zula (http://www.meetup.com/cleveland-drupal/members/71345012/?a=viewBioRsvpList_showBio) will be cat-herding (facilitating) Sunday's sprint.
Please bring a laptop, and if possible, before coming:
Install git (http://git-scm.com/), git clone Drupal 8 core locally, and Set up a site using it. See the Install Drupal Locally (http://drupalladder.org/lesson/8daa1222-481d-fc54-a9bf-9d9ccc1ae702) lesson of the Drupal Ladder for help. If that was all jibberish to you, that's what you'll be working on first. :)
The location for Sunday, Day 2, is in room 313 of the Student Center at CSU. An elevator is available to take you to the third floor of the building. Parking is available in Lot 22 directly underneath the plaza where the Student Center is located.
Check out the campus map ahead of time to get your bearings: http://www.csuohio.edu/aboutcsu/campusmap.pdf
And please consider coming both days, (see Day 1 (http://www.meetup.com/cleveland-drupal/events/104491542/)): come do your part to help make Drupal 8 awesome!
