The Devils Double and Stone Oven at the Cedar Lee

Well the cedar Lee has cut this down to one showing a day at 9:55 PM. I am still game for ir, but I realize a lot of you might not be. Since the Stone Oven Closes an hour before the show we will meet at deweys 8:30.  We will meet in the in the lobby of the Cedar Lee at 9:45 PM. The Movie starts at 9:55 PM

I have to admit that I did not research this movie, I just saw a blurb about it in a Toledo Newspaper. The newspaper also rated, Tabloid, The Guard, and Sarah's Key as movies to see. It has a rottentomatoes score of just 55%, but 71% of the people who saw it liked it. Almost all of the Personal reviews I have read loved the movie. IMDB gave it 7 stars out of 10.

Here's the mandatory movie Blurb.

Summoned from the frontline to Saddam Hussein's palace, Iraqi army lieutenant Latif Yahia (Dominic Cooper) is thrust into the highest echelons of the "royal family" when he's ordered to become the 'fiday' - or body double - to Saddam's son, the notorious "Black Prince" Uday Hussein (also Dominic Cooper), a reckless, sadistic party-boy with a rabid hunger for sex and brutality. With his and his family's lives at stake, Latif must surrender his former self forever as he learns to walk, talk and act like Uday. But nothing could have prepared him for the horror of the Black Prince's psychotic, drug-addled life of fast cars, easy women and impulsive violence. -- (C) Lionsgate

The movie is Based on a Book of the same name written by Uday's real like body double, who survived 12 attempts on Uday's life, while posing as Uday. This movie promises a glimpse into the life of probably the worlds most spoiled child ever. Note this promises to be a very violent movie from all that I have read, so be warned.

Everyone is also saying that the performance by Dominic Cooper is Oscar Caliber.

Well enough of my ramblings. I hope to see you at the movie.
