This will be the final screening of this year's series.

MOVIE 7:30 p.m.

 “Nora’s Will” (2010) - Mexico (in Spanish & Hebrew w/English subtitles) - 92 min.

Nora's Will is a bittersweet farce about death and family relationships in a Mexican-Jewish community.

Synopsis: When Jose's ex-wife dies right before Passover, he is forced to stay with her body until she can be properly put to rest. He soon realizes he is part of Nora's plan to bring her family back together for one last Passover feast. This leads Jose to re-examine their relationship and rediscover their undying love for each other. Guest speaker: Professor April Mason

Dino's (4145 State Route 306, Willoughby 44094) is on the same side of 306, between Lakeland and I-90.

Thank you all for coming out on a very windy night! I enjoyed your company immensely. Nora's Will made for a great discussion at Dino's.

The movie introduction helped point out some deeper meanings that I possibly would have missed on a first viewing given the limited dialogue. Good movie! Thank you Lynda! Also, Meetup got a special shout out and thanks for attending! Way to go Jim for sharing with us this great program.
