Announcing a new Meetup for Cleveland Independent Movie Goers!

What: White Christmas at the Capital Theater

When: Sunday, December 12,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Capitol Theatre
1390 W 65th St
Cleveland, OH 44102

White Christmas is in no way a movie that can be described as Independent. But it's a fun movie, It is Christmas, and we had a good group that had a lot of fun at Last Month's Classic Movie Sunday at that Capital Theatre.

White Christmas is a 1954 Technicolor musical film starring Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye that features the songs of Irving Berlin, including the titular "White Christmas". The film was directed by Michael Curtiz and co-stars Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen.

The four stars are great, especially the great Danny Kaye, and Irving Berlin is thee great american songwriter. Curtiz is one of the great directors of the 30s,40s and 50s. He had 5 movies nominated for Best Picture, he had for 4 Best Director nominations and won for a little film called Casablanca.

Afterward we'll wander off to brunch. Keep your tickets, as some participating Eateries in the area offer discounts to Moviegoers.

There is free parking at a lot right by the theatre.

Oh, and the movie is only $5. So it's a bargain as moviegoing goes these days.
we'll meet in front of the theatre entry at 9:50.

See you There.
