To Rome with love: This Thursday

Hi everyone,
Thanks to Drew who organized an excellent event on Friday with the Paul Newman-directed "Sometimes a Great Notion".  Moonrise Kingdom this past week was also a hit with the group.
Today, (Sunday), we will be seeing a quirky film that is a little hard to explain.  It is based on researching an advertisement for someone to go back in time.  Is it true?  Why is that person posting the ad?  Is it safe?  Anyways, we have reserved Grotto at Shaker Square afterward because this will take a lot of discussion afterward.  I hope you can make it.
The group was originally supposed to see "My Sister's Sister".  It got great reviews but not so good attendance as it is only showing at odd times (10PM).  Therefore, we will be seeing Woody Allen's latest film instead.  The movie starts at 7 at the Stone Oven.  We should have plenty of time to discuss it afterward at Lopez.
Congratulations to Frank S, who recently joined to get us to 900 members!!!  CIMG is in the top 15 in popularity in Cleveland, and certainly the most narrow-focused as opposed to parties, poker or hiking groups.  I am always glad that there are so many independent / foreign film fans in the area.
Our calendar is looking a little sparse.  Hopefully, we will be seeing some movies pop up on the schedule soon.
Still looking for someone who might be interested in organizing JULY 25-AUGUST 19, 2012 - Cinema at the Square at Playhouse Square.  Come see the classic films on the big screen.
If any of these events look interesting to you, let me know and I can get you squared away to schedule one or more films.
Also, check this link for a list of all film Festivals and movie organizations in town (under menu option "Pages")
There are several great films coming up.  We need some organizers to pick some for the group to enjoy.
If you have already paid, thank you very much and no need to look further.
Otherwise, your dues of $5.00 are very important in  order for us to host directors coming into town and pay for the website.  Please select the link or pay your organizer AT THE NEXT GROUP EVENT if you haven't already.
