Re: Re: [humanism-174] Check out Arizona Republicans Propose Bill That Would Not Allow Atheists To G

I do not recall being vile or bullying toward anyone who did not bring my wrath upon themselves by being vile or bullying to begin wirh. Respect gains respect. Arrogance gains contempt. Treat the group with respect and I believe that we will return the favor. Act the fool and be treated accordingly. When I smell arrogant ignorance or stubborn refusal to be respectful I have little patience.
Valid points to a degree regarding stereotyping of republicans or libertarians. But the party has allowed itself to become a party controlled by the religious right. That earns my contempt on a number of levels.

We should start an I Recovered from from voting Republican support group Tim. I am ashamed to say that I too voted republican once - for Ronald Reagan. I was possessed - by what I don't know - is my only defense.

I suppose that not all Republicans are religious nuts or just nuts.  Some of the Repubs in this group have claimed that they should not be painted with the same brush.  And perhaps it is just the Repubs that inabit or govern such states as LA, AR, and TX.

But fleas spread from laying down with dogs!

btw, I once voted Republican.  I'm better now! lol

Tim
