Excuse To Code

This is our casual "Excuse To Code" meetup event. Shaker Launchhouse is kindly letting us use their space on Saturday mornings from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The purpose of this meetup is to give our members time & space to work on or share their projects away from distractions.

Want to brainstorm or ask questions of other developers? Want to turn up you headphones and code without family distractions? Maybe look for opportunities to collaborate, pair-program or share your latest prototype? Then hopefully Excuse To Code will give you those opportunities.

Hey there new folks. I hope to see you at the upcoming meetups. There is no formalized structure to our Excuse to Code meetup. It is simply a time for members of the community to talk and learn from each other or just pop on some headphones and dedicate some time to their projects. There are no prerequisite to joining the group we are simply a collective of video game developers/enthusiasts that love to talk and share what we do or want to do! If you have any more questions please feel free to ask them here or you can ask me in person this Saturday!

Hello to the event planners. I am sort of new to the game development scene. I was wondering if I come to the meetup, do I have to bring in something to show? I would really like to come and just ask questions, meet others and sort of "test the waters". However, I do have a portfolio website if showing my work is a requirement. I am just curious about the qualifications of attending such an event.
